Reminder – Solidarity Day Friday, January 31, 2020
We will be demonstrating our support for our football teams (and other similarly harmed students) by wearing the “Support BPS Football” stickers beginning on Friday, January 31, 2020. Some members of the community will be joining us.

Special Education Placement Violations
We are being advised of special education students being placed in general education classes in violation of their IEP’s and also without parental notification and general education students being placed in special education classes!

BTF Decals Available
Teachers have asked if we have BTF logo items available for cars. Yes, we do. We have BTF decals that can be placed on your car’s rear/side window. If you would like one we will be sending some to your Delegate Chairperson next week. Need more, let us know.

BPO “Kids Take Over Kleinhans” Series
The BTF has again purchased tickets for the next BPO "Kids Take over Kleinhans" series so that BTF members, and their children have an opportunity to attend. The third concert in the series is titled "BuffaLove". It is on Sunday, February 16, 2019 at 2:30 PM. Click Here to view more details about the concert and to print the form to request tickets.

Community Engagement Committee Meeting
There is an upcoming Community Engagement Committee Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 4:30 PM. The meeting will be held at the Buffalo Teachers Federation Headquarters located at 271 Porter Avenue. The committee is looking for input on upcoming initiatives.
